Dear Independence Plaza Resident,
We are pleased to announce that power has been restored to your building!
As a reminder, please note the following to minimize any further issues:
- Make sure your water faucets are closed and that you have shut off running water if you are not using it.
- Allow the toilet tank to fill up completely before flushing.
- Do not force your trash into the trash chute. Please bring any large or bulk garbage and waste down to the garbage room of the building.
- If you have a maintenance request, please call Maintenance Assistance at 1-800-313-0611. Building staff will respond as quickly as possible. If you have a life threatening emergency, call 911. For all other city service needs, please call 311.
- The heat and hot water may take a few hours to be fully restored.
- Elevators should come online in pairs until they are all fully online.
- All of TriBeCa will be in a recovery mode, so it would be prudent to bring food and drink with you. We have been informed that the Whole Foods TriBeCa is currently open during their normal business hours.
We look forward to helping you and your families get back to your daily routines and we thank you for making Independence Plaza your home. Lastly, we have received inquiries from some of our residents about where and how they can volunteer. Please visit the City of New York's volunteer initiative website: http://www.nycservice.org.
Sincerely,
Stellar Management
