Seriously, the entire street is blocked by police - thank God I am moving out of here soon enough. Still, it's actually too bad that we can't use a really nice terrace with a fountain next to my work building because they fenced it all off so the occupy wall street people couldn't get up there... So far I actually haven't seen many of them - you hear it's been too cold for them so far. But I really don't understand what their issue is - they don't seem to manage to articulate a clear message, one of the most essential preconditions to making your voice heard...
Oh well, let's not get political here. I just signed my lease - so it's now official. I shall be living in TriBeCa (Triangle Below Canal Street) soon and I already got a first glimpse of my future life when I was shopping at Wholefoods tonight. They even have Bavarian pretzels and there must be hundreds of different varieties of coconut water - and little energy boosters with weird vitamin descriptions - I guess you can never supplement enough :-) Yeah, right now I'm still making fun of it but soon enough I probably won't be able to live without them anymore... I look forward to trying it all though!
