The four hours to Boston never seemed this long! When we got on the bus, it still seemed as if everything was working ok but then we noticed that the air conditioning was getting less and less effective. At some point it felt as if there was no air at all. And the driver stopped and came to the of the bus and asked if we were ok- sweating and dripping - thanks for asking, no we weren't. Yet he continued to drive and we continued to sweat. When we called the company we got a refund for our ticket but they would not agree to send a replacement bus. Instead we stopped in the glaring heat and the poor driver was trying to fix the AC - not surprisingly to no avail.
I had taken a sweater and a scarf thinking that the air would be really cold on the bus - but no, instead it was just boiling. Must have been like 45 degrees Celsius or over 100 Fahrenheit - disgusting and of course the bus was smelly. So much for taking a more expensive bus than the china town bus to Boston... Can't wait to get into the shower!
