Bye bye Cancun/Mexico - will certainly be back

So, this flight proved me wrong once again, after we had a chaotic start into our vacation with a cancelled flight and lost luggage (in addition to the bedbug on the pillow), I thought once we took of almost on time in Cancun and there were no reports of winter weather in JFK, nothing could go wrong.

Oh well, it so happened that there was a medical emergency on our plane and the lucky guy got treatment from two volunteer doctors and two nurses but it turned out that there wasn't sufficient oxygen on the plane to help him breathe so they ended up having to do a rerouting via Miami. While we landed there and they got the poor guy out of the plane and into the ER, we then had trouble getting another slot to start and it took us an extra 2 hours to get to NY. But it looks like we are finally making it down in light snowfall as I type this post. I'm so going to treat myself with a cab ride home- there's no way I'm taking the subway in this cold - minus degrees Celsius. So sad this amazing vacation is already over but guess what- there will soon be another one to plan...
And in between there might be some yoga blogging - not sure if anyone will read it but I'm excited for my teaching class to start next weekend...
