Chaak - the rain god is portrayed in this pyramid. The hair consists of corn leaves as corn was the basic food for the Mayans. The rain god's nose looks like a snake. And some of their signs look like a euro sign also - fascinating stuff. Pretty amazing that they believed that it was the highest honor to be sacrificed for the people...
