After all the beer, we had to make sure to also get some wine tasting in and I would have to lie if I said it wasn't at least as good as the beer...
This one, the Coppola winery has an amazingly nice pool area outside and offers daily wine tasting for free. That's the beauty of this 'sport', you don't even have to pay as long as you are just tasting. They then want to sell you some wine of course, but they are really not that pushy and some of the wine was so good, I really wanted to buy some but didn't know how to smuggle the bottle in my carry on luggage on the plane...
Apparently many of the wineries in Sonoma and napa are owned by famous people who had some point fulfilled their life long dream, so this one is owned by the director of bram stroker's dracula , the godfather and other interesting movies. There are actually a lot of props from the different movies on display at the winery...
