Interestingly enough Russian River is a part of Sonoma that we got to know pretty well during our trip and this micro brewery has its roots on one of the wineries. So wine and beer county is actually closely linked in this case. At some point the beer experiment became so successful that they took the brewery out and now they have a very popular one in San Jose, including a yummy brunch and lots of people who come taste it there. I have to admit I was not the biggest fan of this one either and again, it might have been better if I ha tried it with the Cajun chicken. As this is quite a heavy beer, maybe the blackened chicken could take some edge off. I enjoyed the pasta a lot though- was cooked on the spot.
