So apparently all frequent horse racing visitors know that these are not the racing horse but they are only used to accompany the racing horses onto the track.
They also have second class jockeys I guess but they were very friendly and didn't seem half as jiggly and nervous as the racing horses.
I would actually ride one of these - with regards to the racing horses, don't think they'd ever let me but I also think that they would be much more dangerous...
The racing horses only race once every few months but according to one of the people we asked by the stables they get exercised every day - on the one hand makes sense as they need to to train but I also thought I had read somewhere that they keep them inside the stable for a while before the race so they are 'ready to explode' when it's time...
