As we were a large group but it was well worth the wait. In the meantime I found out that the apartments with the manhattan view are around 3000 for a 2 bedroom which is not too bad by New York standards. So if I was to move again, I'd seriously consider this as an option. Having the gorgeous view every day is much better than being in the midst of the craziness...
