So I finally made it to the hamptons. Will need to post more pictures later - it's really a picturesque place and I understand why a lot of really wealthy people like it here (we just saw an ad for a house for 60 million USD), but I have to see that I prefer Fire Island. It's much more down to earth than here. With all the fancy cars you almost get an inferiority complex when taking the free shuttle.
Anyway, more later, see the picture- people don't seem to be afraid to leave their shoes out here. Different environment than coney island but makes it seem less real too...
